Privacy Policy
1. Scope
This policy explains how Veritus Ventures (OPC) Private Limited ("Veritus", "we") handles personal data in connection with the website veritusventures.in and our consulting engagements. We aim to comply with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
2. What we collect
- Contact data you share when you reach us by WhatsApp, phone or email: name, phone number, email address, business name.
- Engagement data you provide during an audit or implementation: information about your business processes, team structure, tools and operations.
- Website data: this website does not set cookies, does not run analytics scripts and has no contact forms. Our hosting provider (Vercel) may keep standard server logs (IP address, pages requested) for security and operations.
3. How we use it
We use personal data only to respond to enquiries, scope and deliver engagements, issue invoices, meet legal and tax obligations, and maintain our client records. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use client data to train any public or shared model.
4. Third-party services
Conversations on WhatsApp, email or phone pass through those providers' platforms and are also governed by their own privacy policies. Where an engagement uses third-party tools, we tell you which tools are involved before any of your data enters them.
5. Confidentiality of engagement data
Business information shared during an engagement is treated as confidential under our Terms of Service, is accessible only to the people delivering your engagement, and is used for no other purpose.
6. Retention
We keep enquiry data for up to 24 months from last contact, and engagement records for as long as needed to meet legal, accounting and tax requirements (typically 8 years under Indian law), after which they are deleted or anonymised.
7. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, or withdraw consent for its use, by writing to abhisar@veritusventures.in. We respond within a reasonable time and in any event as required by law. If you are unsatisfied, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India as provided under the DPDP Act.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards: access controls, reputable service providers, and minimal data collection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The version published on this page applies from its effective date.
