Two Tuesdays

Same patient. Same doctor. Same 40 min delay.

Sliding doors. One screen, two halves, same patient, same 40 minute delay, two different reviews.

What this story is about

Why patients leave 2-star reviews after a 40 minute wait, and how one message at 10:15 changes it.

Same patient, same doctor, same delay. On the left, nobody says anything. On the right, one honest WhatsApp before he leaves home.

What I'd run for a clinic: delay updates before patients leave home, a live queue link, follow-up reminders from the prescription, reports on WhatsApp, and review requests only after good visits.

Comment WAIT for the three messages I'd send before every delay.

The first message we would send

The three messages I'd send before every delay: 1. The moment the doctor is 20+ minutes behind: “Dr. Mehta is running about 40 minutes late today. You're 4th. Leave by 11:10 and we'll hold your slot. Reply 1 to confirm.” 2. When they arrive: “You're next after 2 patients. About 12 minutes.” 3. After the visit: “Thank you for waiting today. If anything felt off, reply here and it reaches the doctor directly.” (This one catches the 2-star review before it's posted.) Which appointment system do you use? I'll show you how the first message can go out on its own.

Full transcript

Same patient. Same doctor. Same forty minute delay.

Two different reviews.

Mr. Verma has an eleven o'clock appointment at a clinic in Lucknow.

On the left, he arrives at eleven. Takes a token. Waits.

Nobody tells him why. At eleven thirty, he asks. "Doctor is coming."

At eleven forty, he leaves. That night, two stars.

On the right, same delay. But at ten fifteen, before he leaves home, his phone buzzes.

He finishes his chai. Arrives at eleven twenty five. Waits ten minutes.

That night, five stars. "They respect your time."

The doctor didn't get faster. The clinic got honest, early.

Here's what I'd run for a clinic like this.

Delay updates, sent before patients leave home.

A live queue link. Their token, and the real time they'll be seen.

Follow-up reminders, straight from the prescription.

Reports on WhatsApp, the moment they're ready.

And a review request, only after a good visit.

All on WhatsApp, connected to the appointment book they already use.

Waiting isn't what makes people angry.

Not knowing is.

Run a clinic? Comment WAIT. I'll send you the three messages I'd send before every delay.

Composite story, names changed. Figures for the gym, clinic and CA cases are illustrative, not client results. vv is coming soon and nothing here promises a result.
